Santi began to practice yoga in college, when she started suffering from insomnia and decreased concentration. She became passionate and more curious about the practice when she felt its immediate benefits on her body and mind. She became a daily practitioner and went on to study with renowned yoga teachers worldwide including Michel Bernard, a direct student of BKS Iyengar in Pune, and Sri K Pattahbi Jois in Mysore for over 10 years. Her experience learning from many teachers in different disciplines has shaped her own practice and her teaching approach.
Santi has been actively teaching in Thailand, Indonesia and Germany since 2013. She teaches various styles of yoga and leads various workshops all over the world. Santi is also a certified Reiki practitioner and a healing massage therapist.
“Practicing yoga is a passion, teaching yoga is a calling. I dedicate myself to both the study and practice of yoga. For me, yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice. I want to share what I have experienced on this journey so far, providing each student with clear and sensitive guidance, listening to the their individual needs, thus making space for their own understanding to reach a deeper level.”
