Alexandra Motz

Alexandra Motz is a performance coach, creative and community-builder based in New York City.

With more than a decade of experience in behavioral change management and talent development, she takes a full person approach to coaching, focusing on mindset, embodiment and accountability to achieve goals.

Alexandra believes her greatest skill is making others feel seen. By recognizing and fostering the natural talents of others, she gives anyone (who invites it) the safe, supportive space to challenge their own beliefs in order to actualize their potential.

She enjoys bringing this mission to her daily life whether talking to friends about their plans to change the world or to strangers on the streets of NYC about what lights them up (Yes, really–she’s a midwest extrovert with a friendly face and gets approached often).

Through her coaching and consulting business, created in 2020, Alexandra provides insights, tools and practices inspired by her experience with different personal development modalities, including transformational leadership, motivational coaching, cognitive psychology, yoga therapy and Human Design.

In 2019, Alexandra began her yoga teaching studies by completing a 200 hour training at Pure Yoga with Kay Kay Clivio, Adam Vitolo and Yoga Charu. Enthralled with the mind-body-soul connection, she began a 300 hour YTT focused on yoga therapy at Prema Yoga Institute with Dr. Loren Fishman, Dr. Chris Walling, Dana Slamp and Sonja Rzepski, including Yin Yoga Therapeutics with Kate Kuss.

Alexandra is excited by questions, people and movement, this year adding NYC Marathon finisher to her list of activities. If she isn’t running around the city exploring and taking pictures until it’s time to stop and eat again, there’s a 75% chance she’s writing you texts, DMs or her newsletter… from bed.
